Salem Five Charitable Foundation Donating $500 for each VA Loan Closed.

Salem, MA., November 15, 2024 – In honor of those who served in the military, Salem Five announced that it will donate to veterans’ services charities for each U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) home loan that closes through the end of the year.

A VA mortgage provides home financing guaranteed by the government for qualified veterans, reservists, active-duty personnel or eligible family members. Among the benefits to borrowers is the option for lower than typical down payments.

At the time of closing, the successful applicants will be asked to select a not-for-profit organization to receive a $500 donation from the Salem Five Charitable Foundation. The organization must be a registered 501(c)3 whose primary objective is to serve United States veterans and their families.

“We offer many loan programs that help buyers, but VA loans are among the most popular, because they offer so many benefits to the borrower,” said Denise Bey, President of the Salem Five Mortgage Company. “With the recent Veterans Day holiday, we wanted to do something a little extra for those who’ve served in the military and let them know that we appreciate their service to our country.”
